SITUATION

Heirs Energies is Africa’s largest indigenous owned energy company, headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria. Established in January 2021, the company is committed to addressing Africa’s unique energy needs while aligning with global sustainability goals. Its mission is to drive sustainable energy solutions that power Africa’s growth, emphasizing innovation, environmental responsibility, and community development.
CHALLENGE

Heirs Energies’ remote wellhead monitoring operations demand high-speed internet and autonomous power solutions, but they struggle with unreliable connectivity in Nigeria’s Niger Delta, where remote locations and poor internet infrastructure disrupt real-time data flow. Traditional LTE networks have proven inadequate in these isolated environments due to coverage limitations and frequent downtimes.
IMPACT

- Load Balancing & Failover: Starlink and router loads are prioritized during batter depletion or system anomalies
- Remote Reboot & Diagnostics: Administrators have granular control of mission-critical systems and preemptive issue resolution
- 24/7 Monitoring: Usage of Starlink APIs allows for continuous monitoring of terminal health, data usage, signal quality, and uptime
