Miri Unveils X510 Router with Bonded 4G, 5G, Wi-Fi, and Starlink Connectivity

Miri Technologies unveiled the X510 dual-cellular bonding network router this week. The X510 seamlessly integrates multiple wired and wireless connections—such as 4G, 5G, Starlink, and Wi-Fi—into a single, robust bonded link. Powered by Connectify’s Speedify channel bonding technology, the X510 hardware supports up to seven simultaneous connections, including built-in global-ready 5G and 4G modems, two Ethernet ports, Wi-Fi, and two USB ports for optional external modems. Its automatic failover ensures continuous connectivity even if one ISP fails, while bonding 4G LTE and 5G mitigates network congestion in crowded environments.

The X510 introduces Speedify’s patent-pending Pair & Share feature, enabling bandwidth expansion by leveraging data connections from up to 20 mobile devices on the same network via the Speedify app, supporting a total of 27 contributing links.

For 4G and 5G connectivity, users can opt for Miri’s NetConnect+ multi-carrier data plans, which automatically switch between major and regional networks for uninterrupted service, or use their own SIM cards from preferred carriers. This flexibility allows users with specialized data contracts to bypass congestion, ideal for scenarios like newsgathering in crowded press pools where multiple users rely on the same carriers.

Compact and versatile, the X510 is designed for rack, desktop, or field use, featuring two hot-swappable NP-F battery slots (batteries not included) for extended operation. Unlike video encoders limited to specific codecs or protocols, the X510 supports all data types, from media files and documents to live streams from third-party encoders in any format.
